Workshop A: Professional Development Workshop in Ceramics

Preliminary Workshop Program is now available Here

The goal of the 2013 Professional Development Workshop in Ceramics is to enhance the career development of the next generation of future leaders in ceramic materials research and education. Early-career faculties who have recently been awarded the National Science Foundation CAREER grants from the Ceramics Program in the Division of Materials Research will be the main focus of the workshop activities. They will be giving invited talks about their research and educational activities, and in a productive workshop environment they will interact with colleagues and peers from the international scientific community with expertise in ceramic materials. The expert panelist will give feedback to the young faculty during a discussion session that will be followed by a Q&A period open to the audience of the workshop.
